Russia resumes congress activities. The first offline forum will focus on urbanization and urban development. It will take place on June 30 in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The event will be organized according to the new special safety standards of the World Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). Representatives of government, business, and potential investors will come to Ufa to discuss new post-coronavirus reality of urban spaces and trends in public administration.
The Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation Vladimir Yakushev, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valeriy Falkov, the Head of the Federal Tourism Agency Zarina Doguzova and others were invited to participate in the forum. The forum will present the experience and expertise of the most effective urban improvement and development projects from all over Russia, as well as international cases. A separate block will be devoted to the achievements of Bashkortostan, which, in the context of the fight against coronavirus, has preserved the scope of improvement programs, and also, strengthened support for small and medium enterprises and local producers along with restrained measures of self-isolation. Organizers of the offline event: The Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Moscow Center for Urbanism.
- Yes, nobody canceled the coronavirus, but we need to think about the future. And these are our cities, settlements, park zones. And we must learn to create a comfortable urban environment from the best experts,” said Radiy Khabirov, Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan during a meeting of the forum’s program committee.
Chief of staff of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Alexander Sidyakin, and the Head of the Moscow Center for Urban Studies, the director of the Center for Urban Studies, Faculty of Economics, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Sergey Kapkov became Co-Chairs of the Forum “Territory of the Future. View from the heart of Eurasia ”.
The forum will be the first huge event in Russia, organized after the liberalization of restrictions in connection with the spread of coronavirus. Safety standards include unprecedented health care conditions, visitor flow management, queue management and maximum contactless policies (such as avoiding handshakes).
On June 30, within the framework of the business program, the plenary meeting "Public Administration for People", as well as more than 10 working sections, will be held. They will be divided into four main tracks - “Development of human capital - development of the city, country, world”, “From national projects to private initiatives”, “Global agenda of business and state”, “Hospitality industry”. Online broadcasting of business events will be available. The forum’s public program is also going to be eventful. Special activities within the framework of the urban forum will be organized for children who can feel like creators of the urban environment and architects, take part in master classes.
